BAE has established itself as a leading provider of green energy systems to South Africa’s farmers.
With large commercial farmers ranging from sugar, grapes, macadamia, citrus and mangoes as well as agribusinesses involved in agri processing from pulp processing and timber processing to macadamia beneficiation.
At Radley Landgoed, BAE designed and installed the full off-grid alternative energy solution for the farm which includes the largest floating solar system in South Africa, as well as, ground and roof-mounted arrays integrated into the 1.4 MWh battery backup system.
The solar system is controlled by SolarEdge inverters with IES Batteries and Atess power control and transformer systems and will be maintained by BAE for a 3-year period.
