Our customers range from large scale intensive tunnel farming enterprises, to sugar and mango farmers, to macadamia processing, as well as large saw mills and pulp factories. The energy systems constructed are ground, roof and also water based. We have built the largest floating solar system in South Africa where the system is integrated with a large battery system, which will ensure that the farmer can water his crops without Eskom.

Residential Estates
We do entire estates; We have designed, commissioned and maintained the 2 phases of the solar systems for Leopard Creek Country Club which is South Africa’s most exclusive golf estate. Both solar systems feed into the estates grid. Where residential estates don’t have a common ring feed or space to build centralised solar systems, individual hybrid systems have been installed, which uses the roof of each sectional title unit.

Energy costs can also be reduced trough "load shifting" whereby energy is stored in batteries from solar or from grid during low tariff periods the used in high tariff periods.

    We have designed, engineered, installed and operate 27 commercial battery sites in South Africa. System sizes range from 50 kWh to 2.2 MWH. These systems are stand alone or integrated to grid, solar and generator. Only high-quality lithium-ion batteries are specified where life span and DOD is guaranteed.

    BAE will make recommendations on how to reduce power consumption through consumption scheduling, LED lighting, heating and cooling and variable speed drives on motors.

    The project management on all our projects is managed by our inhouse electrical engineers. Our site managers have extensive experience in the solar and backup systems.

    All of our customers have lifetime access to their system performance. Where we manage the site under a service level agreement our qualified engineers monitor each site online to ensure optimal performance. The dashboard is available to our customers on laptop and app.
